ENG - Arrival in Sydney

Yesterday morning I arrived in Sydney.
Sunshine, but it the 25 degree centigrade felt considerable cooler than the Asian heat.
For a change I did not opt for a hostel or other budget accommodation. I decided to use some of my hotel points in Sydney. Even though I was scared that hotels wouldn't let backpackers in I had no issues entering the lobby. Coolest feature is the rooftop pool with great views of the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House (forget the puddle of pool).
I walked the bridge, said hello to my former bosses and just enjoyed being back.
Today the weather is a lot less welcoming with rain and lower temperatures. I voluntarily put on my long trousers, a long sleeved shirt and left my sandals behind for a change - I do miss the tropical weather...
