After a day of cultural sightseeion in Bangkok (Gran Palace, Wat Pho, river, ...)
I took the bus towards Koh Tao last night. Interesting bus journey, as one guy was giving out that he urgently needed to go to the toilet only minutes after we left and it was a regular coach (probably designed for Thai people) what made it quite a challenge to get comfortable.
By 4am this morning we reached Chumphon to catch the boat to the island. I never would have thought that Chumphon was big enough to get lost for 40 mins while looking for the right peer.
At 9.30 I finally set foot on Koh Tao. I was quite surprised that I was still recognized in the dive shop as it's been 4 years since I've last been here.
Accommodation sorted out for the moment and signed up for diving tomorrow :-)
