after some discussions with a not too nice BA check in lady the whole flight thing went alright and I arrived in Bangkok in the meantime.
I used more or less the first chance to check out transport to my first dive island to find out that all spots are supposed to be fully booked till the 9th.
After calling the operator they could luckily get me a place for tomorrow. So one day sightseeing in Bangkok and then off to finally hit the waters.
Weather is nice and warm as usually in Bangkok. probably around 30 degree centigrade...
